Branding is a topic which comes under Marketing. It is nothing to do with HRM. So i want to tell you that this project will not help you in this particular course because i understands that you are pursueing a course in HRM.
About developing a brand with special reference to the HRM course of your college.
Branding can only be developed when you can offer consistent quality on any product or service. Here if your college can maintain consistent quality on the outgoing candidates and also ensure consistent track record in placements you can think about building the brand image for your college and this course.
Brand building strategies are very expensive and your college have to host many quality programmes in HR filed. Mostly you have to public relations to get news paper space for your Human Resouces department. then participating in all HR related pragrammes initially in an around places and later on to distant areas will also help. Your HR department can approach in an around industries to do HR related exercises such as Motivational and Leadership workshops etc.
By doing all these activities regularly you can built a brand image for your college and the HR department over a period of time. Remember you cannot built a brand on a single day, it will take much time and your resources to built a brand.
