Our trade union constitution states that an executive of the union can be removed by a 3/4 majority of the executive body after his explanation. However, the president of the union issued a letter to the management stating that the old president of the area has been removed, and a new person has been nominated as the president of the area without any meeting of the area body. Does the president have the power to remove an area president without the consent of the area executive body? If not, what should be done?
