We are a placement consultancy based out of Gujarat. We have been recruiting skilled candidates for Africa for some time now. Now we have also started for the Middle East. We do not work for unskilled labor. We are working for skilled manpower. Please suggest, will we be required to acquire a manpower license.
Furthermore, when I met with an MOIA officer in Mumbai, he informed me that I would need a manpower license if I am supplying labor for the 13-14 countries which have ECNR check requirements. This was like 3 years ago. But now, ECNR checks are not required anywhere.
So, please suggest whether I will need to acquire a license. Secondly, who is required to acquire the license.
Please help me, I am so confused.
