Hi,

I had been working in an organization for 5 years. I had to give a 3-month notice period or 3 months' salary, which was not possible for me during those situations. I just sent an email stating some personal problems for my resignation. My old employer and present employer are rivals. Now my old employer would not settle my PF dues because of the above reasons. Can anybody suggest a perfect procedure to claim my PF without the interference of my previous employer?

No problems. You should request EPF claims from your previous employer by speaking to or emailing HR and awaiting their reply. If that does not happen, you can claim it through an alternate method. In any case, Form 5 and 10 along with Form 3A are required from the previous employer. Even though these forms are not mandatory, the PF department insists on them. Could you please provide the location of your PF office?
