Hi,

I have filed FORM 13 to transfer my previous EPF account to my present EPF account, but the application was rejected due to "3A/6A NOT SUBMITTED BY EMPLOYER." What can I do next? How can I transfer my account?

Hello,

The rejection of your FORM 13 for EPF transfer due to "3A/6A NOT SUBMITTED BY THE EMPLOYER" indicates that your previous employer has not submitted the necessary annual returns.

Here are the steps you can follow to resolve this issue:

1. Contact your previous employer: Inform them about the rejection of your EPF transfer request due to the non-submission of forms 3A/6A. It's their responsibility to rectify this.

2. Request them to submit the necessary forms: Ensure your previous employer submits the annual returns which include Form 3A (Member's annual contribution card) and Form 6A (Yearly statement of contributions).

3. Reapply for the transfer: Once your previous employer has confirmed the submission of the forms, you can reapply for the EPF transfer through FORM 13.

4. Check status regularly: Keep checking the status of your EPF transfer request on the EPFO portal to ensure that the process is moving smoothly.

Remember, it's crucial to have your EPF account consolidated to ensure you receive the full benefits upon retirement. If your previous employer is unresponsive or unwilling to cooperate, you can approach the regional EPFO office with your issue.

Please note that as per the EPF & MP Act 1952, the employer is bound to submit the annual returns, and failure to do so can lead to penalties.

I hope this helps! Let me know if you have any other questions.
