Dear Mr. Dilip,
I would also like to know about EHS in detail as I have newly joined a Building & Construction Company in Guwahati, Assam. What are the basic norms of EHS Policy that may be implemented in the Construction Industry?
Please suggest...

Dear Mr. Rajib Kaushik,
First of all, a warm welcome to the EHS Forum. I hope you will actively participate in this EHS Forum and share/gain knowledge with us.
Your question is not so clear. Are you seeking more information about the EHS Policy, or do you want to know about the basic things to focus on at a construction site?
When it comes to construction safety, the two most risky activities are Work At Height and Electrical Work. You can find a lot of material on both of these topics within this forum itself.
Additionally, a lot of material is available on EHS Policy on our forum. Please use the above research option to search for these documents.
If you still require anything specific, please provide your specific requirements.
Thank you.

Dear All,
Just a thought - why do we have "Safety Day," "World Environmental Day," "Nature Day" - because, just a personal opinion, the rest of the 364 days we are violating them - we pollute, blow our horns, and care a fig about safety, especially some of the leading MNCs. The incident of a lady losing her life in a mock drill is a point in case of negligence of the very force that was to save lives - the Fire Department??
Check, check, and check are the only solutions. Penalize those who break the safety rule - do not pay lip service, take a few photos, and a PPT to show that you are an HSE person/manager.
