I have been working in a firm from 02.02.2006 to 31.03.2011, and each month my EPF Rs. 780/- is deducted from my salary. I have already deposited the PF withdrawal form on 07.06.2011. Today, I checked the balance on the new PF site and received an SMS showing EE amount as Rs. 44,563 and ER amount as Rs. 13,653. I do not understand why, after 5 years, my salary deducted by Rs. 46,800/- and after adding the employer contribution, it adds up to Rs. 93,600/- without interest. Then why is this amount showing? Please clarify my query. My PF No. is DL/CPM/0026342/000/0004978.

Please check whether the balance shown in the SMS is up to 30.03.10 or 31.03.2011. If it is up to 31.03.2011, there may be some errors.
The figures shown in the SMS or statement are PF amounts (i.e., Employee contribution and 3.67% employer contribution). Out of the 12% of the employer's share, 8.67% goes to the Pension scheme, which is not shown in the PF statement.
However, if you withdraw the amount before attaining 58 years and have not opted for a scheme certificate for the Pension account, you will be paid the full amount (i.e., the amount accrued in PF and Pension Accounts as of the withdrawal date, including interest).
You can double the EE amount to know the exact figures of your EPF and Pension Account. This is my understanding.

Could you please let me know the maximum time it takes for PF funds to be credited to the account?

I worked for a company for 22 months and already submitted the PF form. The message I got shows EE amount: Rs 9409, ER amount: Rs 3827 as of 09-09-11 (Accounts updated up to 31-03-2010). Every month, my PF amount was deducting approximately Rs. 1000/- from the salary. Please clarify because if I calculate the total amount till March 2011, it is approximately Rs. 22000 without the Employer's contribution and interest.
Please suggest the exact amount.
