Hi,
Is it possible to apply for a PF withdrawal request online for a previous company that I worked with? If yes, what is the procedure? If no, then what should I do? Please do let me know as a delay might reduce my PF amount.

Hi Rahul,
There is no procedure for requesting PF withdrawal online. To withdraw your PF, you have to submit Form 10C and 19 filled and attested by the employer. If the employer didn't sign the form, then you can attest your signature from the bank and attach its copy with the withdrawal form.

So in this case, I have to meet the payroll department of my previous company to withdraw the PF. Can you please suggest if I need to take any documents along with me from my side? Also, how is the PF calculated because the PF amount was revised in the previous company that I worked with? Can you please let me know about this?
Thanks & Regards,

Regarding papers, it depends upon the working procedure of that particular company. Otherwise, you should carry a PF withdrawal form which you can buy from a stationary shop that provides legal forms. Along with it, you should carry your salary slip which indicates the PF number, the organization, and a copy of your bank account proof, that's it.
Regarding the calculation of PF, it is decided by the EPF commission, which is 12% from the employee and the same from the employer. It never varies from company to company.
