I am Ayusi Das and I have completed my PGPM in Hr and Marketing.I want to start a new recruitment firm of my own,but being a fresher I am in real dilemma as in where to start my work and hence i required guidance to start my own consultancy.

Hi Ayusi,
Good that you have a business idea. A MBA or an equivalent qualification to start a business may not be necessary but will help you far in thinking at least, having said that it is not fair to get in to a HR consulting business straightaway. From my view point it is advisable to gain work experience initially though not necessarily a HR work experience. A work experience is essential because that will give you the required insight about the business demands. I have given these inputs assuming you are a fresher without any work experience but it is of course left to your intuition & life orientation.Yes there are few exceptions too who have capitalized their gut feelings put it in hard work & have achieved peaks without any prior experience...remember exceptions are always exempted.

It's true what the REC Specialist said. Please gain some knowledge before you start something; otherwise, it will be very difficult to handle employees and clients. The knowledge you gain will help you handle both of them better and provide more clarity on budgeting, business setups, etc.
