First, you have to implement the system requirements in line with ISO 9001:2008 standards. You can obtain the Indian version of the ISO 9001:2008 standard at the local BIS office. Go through the requirements and determine through the Level 1 document - Quality System Manual.
During this determination, identify the list of processes in your organization and map the sequence of interactions. Find out the process performance measures, define your quality policy, objectives as short and long-term business goals, and map them with process performance measures.
Establish the Quality System Procedure through the Level 2 document, implement it through the Level 3 document - Work instructions and SOP's, and maintain it through the Level 4 document - Records, Check sheets, and formats.
Train some of your employees in Internal Auditing, and conduct Internal Audits with your trained personnel. Conduct a Management review to identify any changes required for the Quality Management System (QMS) and resource requirements for the organization.
