Simply suggesting a topic is not sufficient. Many topics can be recommended in HR, but the most important aspect is the competency and research interest in the specific area of HR for both you and your guide. For example, topics may include: "Human Resource Development in the Indian Pharmaceutical Industry - A Comparative Study of Ranbaxy Laboratories Ltd. & GlaxoSmithKline (GSK) Pharmaceuticals Ltd."

So, think carefully and then decide.

Hi, I have chosen a topic for my PhD in HR. My topic is "Effective communication and personality development." I am wondering if this topic is suitable for my PhD, or if you could please suggest another topic. I will be pursuing my PhD on a part-time basis. Thank you.

Hello,

It's okay; as you are interested, but being an HR professional and academician, I will not suggest you choose this type of general topic as an HR topic. It is better to discuss with your supervisor/Ph.D. guide regarding the same and then finalize the topic.

Registration Process Method-I

If you want to register for the Ph.D. program, then you have to appear in the ENTRANCE EXAMINATION generally conducted by the concerned universities or the management institution(s). After qualifying the examination and interview, you are entitled to registration.

Registration Process Method-II

If you qualify the JRF EXAMINATION conducted by UGC, then you have to appear only for the INTERVIEW because you are EXEMPT from the written examination. After qualifying the interview, you are entitled to registration.

NOTE: For details on the Ph.D. Program, visit the concerned university's website where you want to be registered.

All the best.
