Hi Priya,
Since you have completed your HRM, I don't think you need to do anything else. The only thing you need to do is look around for better prospects and explore opportunities in better companies. Be clear about what you want and which function you are interested in within HR. Make a calculated move... It's based on your area of interest.

Hi Abhi,
Thanks a lot, Abhi, for career guidance. You know, I have a total of 4 years of experience, but not in HR. In HR, I have only 6 months of experience, and that too in recruitments. I want to transition into pure hardcore HR. If you have any ideas or know of any openings, please let me know. At the same time, I don't want to waste my time, as people say I lack domain knowledge and experience. That is the reason why I am considering taking a course or getting accreditations that will add weightage to my CV.
Please suggest.

Hi Priya,
It is a pleasure to see your view on making progress. As stated by you, you have already completed your MHRM and want to proceed further.
Being a career counselor, I hope to help you.
Priya, please check the following points for choosing your future path:
1. Find out the tasks that interest you a lot.
2. Go through some psychological tests to find your skills and abilities.
3. Discuss the results of the psychological tests with an authority you know who has rich experience in HR.
4. Don't view the results as lacking but as areas for improvement.
5. Familiarize yourself with various areas in HR such as Training and Development, Personnel Laws, Administration, Time Office, other legal compliances, counseling, recruitment, policy-making, strategic HR, HR audits, career planning, etc. Note that some organizations cover only certain areas under HR.
6. Choose your area of interest.
7. Research the courses available in that area from various universities.
8. Remember that when your working area aligns with your interest, you will never feel tense in your life, and you can deliver the best results.
Also, remember that a degree can give you a certificate, not experience and increments. It is your knowledge that provides real opportunities. Therefore, seek knowledge when pursuing education. Knowledge is the application part of what you study.
Feel free to reach out for any more information you need.
All the best.

Hello, I'm Aiyaz, currently in my final year of engineering in I.T. with an aggregate of 79% until the 7th semester. I am interested in pursuing higher studies. At the moment, I am in a dilemma deciding whether to pursue an M.S. in an I.T.-oriented field or M.S. in Management. I am seeking guidance on which option would provide better opportunities in terms of job prospects. Please advise me.
