Hi,
I don't think it should be a problem. You just need to be patient, and perseverance will help you achieve your career goal. Read the articles on the latest developments in HR (as you have a 3-year gap) from your MBA. It's more of a will that is required to set your career right. Prepare yourself well and attend your interviews with confidence. I am sure you will get into the HR field.
Here are a few tips to help you get into the HR field (considering your gap):
- Do not look at the package when choosing a job.
- Do not focus on big brands alone.
- Be open and flexible with job timings and responsibilities.
- Stay positive.
- Think and work smart.
- Look for opportunities to learn.
I hope these suggestions are helpful to you. Good luck with your career aspirations in HR!

Since you are on this forum, I assume you are inquiring about MBA options. There are many options you can look into:
(1) If you want to remain in the IT industry, an MBA degree with an IT specialization would help you. You can also consider going for project management.
(2) If you want to change fields, respective options can be chosen.

Hi, I am working in a company as a Branch Manager. One of the juniors had come to the branch on deputation from H.O. He worked with me in my branch for 3 months as an Accountant. He was getting a salary of Rs. 7000/- per month. Now his salary is fixed at Rs. 10000/- per month. But he is supposed to get Rs. 3000/- extra in addition to his previous salary as arrears for the last two months. That is, he should get a total of Rs. 6000/- arrears added to his current salary.
After discussion with the Director of H.O., he requested me to write a letter to him regarding this arrear. Can anyone please suggest what I should write in a letter to the Director of H.O.?
Please help me on this regard, guys.
