Dear Anver Saadik,

You need to become aware that for the first time in the history of India, there is now a Central Right of Children to Free and Compulsory Education Act governing elementary education, and Kerala has prepared state rules for the Right to Education. You need to register your school with the state government in accordance with this Act and its rules. I am attaching the central Act. Please refer to your Directorate of School Education for the rules.

Dear All,

I have recently joined an electrical company as an HR Manager. Here, no such department is yet established. So recruitment, employee payroll, statutory compliance, etc., are in a complete mess. It's like starting from zero.

Kindly help me out with this new section and guide me on where to start to establish the company's HR Department as strong as it is in other companies.

Dear Sir,

I would like to know more about your establishment, mode of operation (whether a manufacturer, distributor, exporter, etc.), functioning in which state, labor force, whether in a general geographical area or any SEZ, etc.

Since I have work experience in the same field for more than your age, I shall provide necessary directions in a phased manner with appropriate guidelines in all respects. If you are interested, please write to me or call.

Dear Mr. Sadik,

As far as my knowledge goes, the following are needed for a school:

1. A non-profit body (trust/society/foundation) as the founder of the school.
2. NOC from the state government.
3. Trade license from the local body.
4. Affiliation from a board/council, etc.
5. Professional tax registration.
6. ESI/EPF registration, if applicable.
