Respected seniors,

My name is Srinivasu M. I don't know good English for our communication. Please understand my problem. One of my colleagues was on leave from 01-12-2010 due to personal problems. A few days (approximately 10 days) later, he informed his senior about his resignation. However, he received his salaries for the month of Dec & Jan 2011 without realizing it. He did not notice the salary deposits in his account until last week. Upon realizing this, he immediately informed HR. Initially, he did not inform the HR department about this issue before going on leave. The HR department has now informed me, and I am passing on the information to you. Please ensure that the same salary amounts, PF amount, and tax amount are deposited back or handed over to the accounts department for the two months' salary return (my colleague received a total of 31,218.00 but HR deducted Rs 33,600.00). He did not have enough time to review the breakup details. He has requested HR to provide more information about his final settlement.

What should he do regarding his final settlement, salary details, PF amount, and taxes? His monthly salary is approximately Rs 19,000. He joined the company in September 2008.

Seniors, I am familiar with this network. I read the problems and solutions daily but I am unsure how to submit problems in this group. Today, I reached out to Sri Bhaskar sir for clarification on the presentation.

I have many small problems, doubts, and an interest in sharing information.

If you don't mind, I am seeking feedback on my language and communication.

Srinivasu M

Dear Srinivas,

Please ask your friend to pay the money and take the clearance documents (Exp, Rel Letter). A clear exit is always the best advice. They have deducted PF from his December and January salary, which needs to be paid back to the company as a recovery. Once he submits Form 10C and 19, he will get his PF money.

Have fun,
Jay
