How to check whether I am a member of "Employees Pension Scheme". If I have a EPF no. does it means that I have become an automatic member of "Employees Pension Scheme".
Thanks in anticipation to get some reply.

From employer PF contribution, 8.3% of your basic salary + DA if any or Rs.541.00 p.m. whichever is lower, will be allocated to EPS 1965. Central Govt. will further contribute 1.16% towards this scheme. This is automatic and no need to check.

Dear Amirana,
If you have joined in EPF before 16.11.95 and was not a member of the then prevailed Familly Pension Scheme and also still continuing in the same job; then you will not be a member of EPS-95 automatically. But there is provision to opt EPS-95.

Dear Ironbalu,

To be eligible for a pension, there should be a minimum service of 10 years in the EPF, which includes both the Family Pension and Employees Pension Scheme. Could you please confirm this? If there is not enough eligible service for a pension, a one-time withdrawal benefit is applicable.

Thank you,
