Suicide is not a solution for all problems. They should explain about the mistake, because more than 55k employees are working under them, and they have misused public money as well. A.P. CM Rajasekhar Reddy has insisted on an inquiry. The inquiry should proceed loyally. If a mistake is found, the government will fulfill the punishment, which they have attempted (suicide).

Leader is always known for their ability to handle situations. Leaders do not quit, and quitters are not leaders.

We are human beings, and there are a lot of ups and downs in life. Winning and losing are parts of life. If you win, you should not be proud, and if you lose, you should not be in sorrow.

As written in the Bhagavad Gita.

Hi All, What is he going to prove by attempting suicide? Its just an emotional drama to get sympathy. Everybody is involved in this scam. Regards, Abdul Aleem Mohammed

First impression of this news is that it's an attempt to sensationalize the Satyam tragedy. Because it carries no burden of proof to establish that this rumor is true.

Secondly, CFOs of most companies are clever enough to devise ideas to safeguard their jobs and generate resources for the company through various means, even though they know this is not legal or may result in a Ponzi scheme.

He has not done anything commendable because business ethics do not allow for fraud. None of his actions can be justified.

It shows his weakness. The entire episode confirms that he is a follower, i.e., he has accepted whatever his boss told and never tried to confront. A real financial head needs to direct, correct, confront, and be ready to quit, as he is responsible for the public money, and any act of his will make the lives of hundreds of thousands of people miserable. He confirms his irresponsibility even towards his family by attempting suicide. Now the question arises about the selection process. Has HR conducted an evaluation process (using HR tools like MBTI/Thomas profiling, etc.)? If yes, what are the results regarding stress absorption and action? Now, you all can understand the criticality/importance of HR in identifying and deploying employees for various roles and positions.

Dear All,

Great drama done by Satyam management. Fraud happens in accounting, auditing, and banking. Fraud happened not only in the current year but also in previous years. Higher officials resigning and committing suicide are just ways of escaping from the current scenario.
