I am in the process of reframing travel policy for my company.
Can anybody throw some light on Rates applicable for local travelling in Metro / Non - Merto cities. ( Old rate is Rs.2.5/km - Decided 8 years back for my company.)
I would request for :
1. Either to give idea how to arrive at this rate ?
2. Ready rates for your company :-) .

Hi,
The slabs which you are asking about is for local conveyance being used for official purposes, usually it is divided in to two catgories like two wheeler and four wheeler.
Car Two wheeler
for 31-35 Kms 4.5 Rs/ km 2 Rs/ km
for 35 Kms and above 5 Rs./ Km 2.5 Rs. /Km
Now in view of increased rates of petrol, it is due for revision, has anyone taken the step

Hi, In my organisation we have revised the rates to Rs. 5.50/- per km, no matter it is two wheeler or four wheeler. And we are the best pay masters in the Industry. Cheers :D Archna
