Hi Sonali,

ee while preparing travel policy, have to take care of some points together...

Firstly define the classes of city according to their

dearness allowance..

Like Metros will come in class - A city

Capitals will come in Class B city

And other places will come in Class - C city

After preparing the same.. prepare travel class eligibility...

and for that you will have to define class of employees also..

Top Management, Managers, and others.. so on..

Accordingly prepare the Travel class eligibilty, i.e who can travel via Air, 1st class AC and so on..

Then accordingly for local purpose who may hire taxi, who has to

go through auto, Bus etc...

After this define Accommodation Limits class wise Means.. who is eligible to stay in AC rooms, deluxe rooms, simple rooms.. and upto what charges he could reimburse the same..

After this define per day expenses for an employee according to their scales while they are outside..

Hope these are sufficient contents to prepare the Travel Policy..

Wish you all the best...

Regards,

Amit Seth.
