Hi,
Its going to close to one year since i have left my previous organisation. In Sept'07 i sent my PF withdrawal forms to the HR there to arrange the withdrawal of the same.
When i did not received my amount even after three months I contacted them once again for which they said that forms have been submitted and i will get the amount soon. I contacted them in February '08 on which they requested to wait for one more month but till now i have not received the same and when today i contacted them they told me very straightly that i need to contact the PF office on my own. My problem is this that I stay at Delhi and the PF office is in Mumbai.
Now my query is this can i bound my previous employer for helping me out to withdraw the PF balance? If yes, to what extent?
They are not providing me the acknowledgement copy also of the submission of the PF forms at the Pf office.
Look forward your suggestions on my problems
Thanks

Hey hi Go and ask your employer for PF withdwl achwgment number. If u got the number means ur form is under process. And after that meet PF office person and ask ur status.

Dear Himanshu,
According to me, its best that you atleast collect the phone number of Mumbai PF office and call them to check out weather your application is submitted or not. If not its simple that your ex-employer as not done the job for you. If your application is already with them, than you can check what it the exact problem.
Hope this will help you to get your problem solved. All the best and hope you will get your amount sooner than later.
Regards
Amith R.
