Attached is the attendance sheet in excel. This is not my own work. I have just done some essential changes in this sheet which was posted earlier in Cite HR. I hope this attendance sheet will fulfil your requirement. Not only you can calculate the attendance for each month but also track leave record for each employee. You can modify it according to your organisation policy.

Dear Rajesh, this is an excellent format and very useful. Thanks for providing this format. In the current organization where I am working, the leave balance record were not properly maintained by the previous HRs. The attendance entries are made in Tally but there is no proper system for attendance. This will help me streamline things.

That is a wonderful effort to capture leaves. However, I think manual updating of sheets while the company grows will be a challenge. You can try 'Clockit' - [ClockIt - ClockIt](http://clockit.io)

Hope it helps you too. The best part of this software is that it integrates with your current time monitoring hardware and has a trial period of 30 days! I found it useful in the first week itself!

Using these types of approaches is a thing of the past. Things have progressed significantly, and people are embracing the benefits of automation. An HR professional plays a crucial role in bringing talented employees to an organization, leading to increased productivity. Therefore, do not confine your HR personnel to monotonous tasks. Automating most HR functions allows HR to concentrate on more critical responsibilities. Automation is the key to success in 2018. It is not an expense; it is an investment.
