I want to start an in-house newsletter in my branch unit as part of HR exercise. Apart from some inputs regarding the organization itself, what else can go into it? Can my member friends suggest some areas as well as some catchy names for the newsletter?

Dear Subramaniam,
It's nice that you have thought about an in-house newsletter. Well, the name can be something pertaining to your company. Why don't you have a contest for it and ask the employees themselves? Then you will get an idea of what they would like from the newsletter.
You could include quizzes, crosswords, etc. whereby you could offer prizes every quarter. This will increase the readership of your newsletter. Include achievements of the employees and their family members, jokes, and riddles, stories with morals and meanings, useful sites and addresses, a food corner on health tips, diets, recipes, articles from employees, messages from top management, environmental-related issues. Once you get going, it will come together.
All the best,

Hi,
It is very good. You can also add birthday wishes, wedding day wishes, motivational stories, party rules and regulations in the topic "Do You Know," some safety slogans, photos of the birthday child of a week, and messages on training topics like communication, interpersonal relationships, etc.
Best of luck.
