Hi All,
I need some help and guidance regarding preparing a comprehensive Induction Manual.
We are an IT company and as a process, we do HR related induction on the day of joining of an employee and then chalk out a schedule for comprehensive induction i.e. Induction with other department heads.
I am in a dilemma regarding what exactly the other department heads should talk in the induction process...??
Please help me on this.
Regards
Bhavna

Hi Bhavana,
I suggest that the first part of the induction must necessarily talk about the company , its objectives, vision, its background, milestones achieved and future growth. this will generate a lot of interest in the new recruits.
Further to this the respective departments heads can talk about their individual department functions and how their working adds value to the organizational goal.
Once both the above are choreographed well, it will go a long way in infusing confidence and garner support from the new recruits.
Hope you are able to have a successful induction.
Regards,
Sandhya.
