Dear all,
I am working with one of the top sub-distributors in India. Since there is no senior HR personnel in our organization, could anyone assist me in designing an Induction program? I have prepared a general Induction, but I would appreciate help in making it more engaging.
I often find myself confused as recruitment activities are ongoing every day. How should I approach this situation?
Thank you.

In our organization, we have an E-induction process where we provide all the necessary information on a CD for employees to review. Please find attached a document containing a checklist of things you need to do or consider for the induction.

Hi Nisha,
You can arrange for some welcome gifts like cookies, pens, penholders, etc. You can also organize some ice-breaking games for new joiners. At the end of the induction, you can ask them to share their impressions about the company and the induction program, either through a presentation (if time permits) or by jotting down their views on a chart paper.

Hi Nisha, here are the guidelines for organizing the induction program:
Introduction
- Conduct this in a different way, like grouping participants and having one person introduce the others.
- Conduct some fun games or an ice-breaking session.
Overview of the Company
HR Processes and Policies - including individual growth opportunities within the company.
Accounts and Taxation
Do's and Don'ts
Security-related Information (if the company follows standards like ISMS)
Other Process-oriented Information
Please let me know if you need any further information.
Thanks,
Pavan

Dear Nisha, I would like to let you know about a few induction practices that we follow at our company:
1. Welcome on board email - This is sent with the new joiner's photograph and a short note about him/her. It is prepared by HR and sent by our CEO, personally addressing the new joiner while copying the entire organization.
2. In the middle of the induction session, we introduce the newcomer to other employees and allow them to socialize.
3. The induction program is divided into two sessions: one involves an introduction to company history, services, etc., and the next is an HR session where policies, fun practices, etc., are explained. We conduct a small quiz at the end of each session.
4. We ensure that our CEO meets the new joiner on their joining date and has a discussion so they feel important.
I am not sure of the size of your organization and the number of new joiners joining on a specific date. If it is a big group, an ice-breaking session would be very useful.
All the best.

Hi, I am Kanyakumari. I have recently joined an organization that currently has over 72 employees. We are now looking to hire more staff. Can somebody assist me in designing an induction program for the new employees in the hospital sector? I am eagerly awaiting your response. Thank you.
