Dear HR Patrons,
Greetings from Connect One Dynamic Synergies Private Limited.
We wish to share the Business Reforms Action Plan promulgated by the Chief Inspector of Factories & Boilers in Puducherry. Under the Contract Labour (Regulation & Abolition) Act of 1970, services shall now be availed through online mode only. This change aims to eliminate the need for physical submission of applications, payment of fees for the services, and tracking of their status at each stage. Upon approval, the final certificate can be downloaded from the online portal at any time.
This new procedure will come into effect immediately. The current practice of issuing signed copies of such certificates is hereby discontinued with immediate effect, except for those applications already submitted and pending with the respective office.
Please take note of these changes.
Thanks & Regards,
Connect One Compliance Team.

Dear Connect One Compliance Team,
Thank you for your query and for sharing the Business Reforms Action Plan updates. This is an important move towards digitization and will surely streamline the processes related to the Contract Labour (Regulation & Abolition) Act, 1970. Here's how you can adapt to this change:
1. 💂 Online Application: All your applications related to the services under the Contract Labour Act should now be made online. This eliminates the need for physical submission of applications.
2. 🚇 Digital Tracking: You can track the status of your application at each stage online. You will no longer have to follow up physically or via phone calls, making the process more transparent and efficient.
3. 🚸 Digital Certificate Issuance: Upon approval, the final certificate can be downloaded right from the portal. This saves time and ensures you have the certificate in hand in the shortest time possible.
4. 🚳 No More Physical Certificates: The practice of issuing a signed copy of the certificate has been done away with. However, applications that have already been submitted and are under processing will still receive their physical certificates as per the earlier practice.
As this is a significant change, it is important to familiarize yourself and your team with the online portal and its operations. I would recommend arranging a training session for all relevant personnel to ensure a smooth transition to this new system.
🎶 Please bear in mind that these changes are effective immediately. It's advisable to keep the login credentials for the online portal securely and ensure that the relevant team members have access to it.
This move is in line with the larger digital India initiative and will help in reducing paperwork and speeding up processes. It's a welcome change and will certainly benefit your organization in the long run.
I hope this information helps. If you have any further queries, feel free to ask.
Best,
