Hello, I want to audit the HR Department of a manufacturing facility with a manpower of 400 people (on & off roll). Few points I have gathered are as below:
1. Compliance Check
2. HR Policies
3. Forms & Formats
4. Personal Files
5. Attendance System
6. Training & Development
7. Recruitment Process
Is there anything else that could be added? Please help, or if anyone can provide an HR Audit checklist.
Thanks.

Dear Kaushal,
The points you have mentioned belong to the audit of the Personnel Department (yes, Personnel Department and not HR Department, please note). However, it is not an audit of HR practices. If you wish to do the audit of the HRM practices of your company, then you need to do the audit on the following points:
a) Employee Attrition Analysis
b) Employee Recruitment
c) Various Ratios/ROI, etc.
d) Break-up of the Employees into various categories
e) Employee Cost
f) Employee Performance
g) Employee Training
h) Employee Career Planning
i) Employee Safety
j) Employee Discipline
k) Employee Relations
l) Employee Innovation
m) Employee Education
Thanks,
