OT is paid either as per Shops and Establishment Act of the State or as per Factories Act. Please read the relevant clause as per your need and act accordingly. The organization may plan (policy) to manage temporary shortfall of manpower by providing OT, but that is not the permanent solution. Other than extreme emergency OT should not be allowed.
