Hello, I wanted to know regarding the EPS with EPF. I am already 62 years old and still not retired. Most likely, after a few months, I will retire. Currently, my PF is deducted by the company and deposited with EPF. I have already completed 10 years in the company. I came to know that I cannot withdraw my EPS. Is there any provision to get a pension from EPF based on my deposited amount on a monthly/yearly basis? Or, what is the way to withdraw the full amount and put it into another pension scheme?

Best Regards

Yes, depending on the service, you will get a pension. Since you have already completed 58 years of age, no more contribution is going to the EPS. Therefore, you can apply for a Scheme certificate from EPFO and then submit the same to the authorities to avail the pension.

Data is incomplete. The age is 62, and employment span is 10 years. So, the output is that the person joined at the age of 51-52, and pension contributions cease at 58. Therefore, the actual contribution is only 7 years in EPS. The pension scheme requires a minimum of 10 years of pension contributions.
