Hi,

While filing the monthly ECR for pension remittance at the EPFO Portal, we are facing an issue. The ECR amount was deducted from our bank account on 05-Nov-20. However, till date, it is showing "Unable to get status from the bank." The only option available is to reject the transaction. However, the transaction cannot be rejected as the amount has already been deducted. We have even written emails to EPFO and SBI, but have not received any response. If anyone has a solution, please suggest.

Normally, the status gets updated after the closing hours of the bank. However, you can use the WhatsApp helpline of EPFO to get your issues resolved. Check your registered email and registered mobile; the Regional Office's WhatsApp number is shared with the subscribers.
