As per Labour Law , how many minimum number of days a company should declare holidays ?
I am aware that , the maximum number is left to the interest of the company.

I would also like to know as per the shop and establishment Act what is the minimum number of Holidays one can give to its employees in Delhi. It is would be great if any one of you can kindly forward any list of Holidays for the year 2008 of Insurance company.

no of holidays are given as per the standing order applicable to you ,so what your standing order says about holidays.
generally company gives 7 or 9 holidays as per their standing order.

Although, each state issues the notification to this effect but my concern is categorizing as national + mandatory in states + rest as per employers wish.
