We are covered under ESIC and PF in Andhra Pradesh, and we manufacture garments. Now, we are opening a branch in Tamil Nadu that will employ not more than 6 to 8 individuals. Since there are fewer than 10 employees, do we need to include the employees of Tamil Nadu under ESIC and PF as well? Please guide.

If the company is the same, yes, you have to enroll all your employees under EPF. For ESIC, you have to create a sub-code for Tamil Nadu under the code available in Andhra Pradesh and make the remittance. For assistance in registration and labor compliance, our expert team can assist you.
