Considering your location as Thane and as per shops and establishment act of Maharastra any worker in any establishment is required to work beyond nine hours a day or forty-eight hours a week, he shall be entitled, in respect
of the overtime work, wages at the rate of twice his ordinary rate of wages. The total number of overtime hours shall not exceed one hundred and twentyfive hours in a period of three months.
Total Number of Working Hours in a day is 9 hours
Total Number of Working Hours in a week is 48 hours
Total Number of over time hours in a Quarter i.e 3 months is 125 hours and double wages for the hours worked
