If a wrong Aadhar number and Date of Birth is updated in my PF account, how do I correct it?

To log in, access the members' portal and click on "Modify Basic Details." Update your correct Aadhar information, including your name, gender, and date of birth. Request your employer to digitally verify the changes. Any additional instructions, such as balance details, will be provided at the time of uploading the data on the portal.

If the Aadhar number is incorrect, it cannot be accepted until you update it in your PF portal. In case the date of birth is incorrect (compare with Aadhar), if the wrong birth date is within one year, you can correct it in your online PF portal. However, if it has been more than one year, you will need to submit a Joint Declaration form along with supporting documents such as Aadhar photocopy, School TC, or Birth certificate photocopy to the PF regional office.
