Kindly guide me on the following details:
1. One of my colleagues is getting transferred to a sister concern located in another state.
2. The employee needs to do an online PF transfer from the existing company to the sister concern. Is it possible for the employee to initiate the online transfer with a future date of the last working day? For example, if the last working day is in the 1st week of March, can she apply for the online transfer in February itself?

First, employee exit details have to be uploaded in the PF Portal by the employer. Secondly, the employee has to report for duty with the new employer. The new employer needs to link the UAN in their portal. Once the new employer links the UAN, the PF money automatically gets transferred from the previous member ID to the present (new) ID.
The PF member should ensure that while in employment, Aadhaar is uploaded as KYC and duly approved by the employer with DSC.
