I have a colleague who has submitted fake provisional certificates in his company because of backlogs. She managed to clear her papers while working in the company, but now has a one-year gap in her final degree certificate. Now the company is initiating her visa, and she will be required to submit the final degree certificate. Would it really pose a problem?

The discrepancy in dates will come out. Fake provisional certificates would show a different date of passing the final year, while the real one would show another date. She passed her exam while in service due to backlogs. People do not think before doing wrong things and then seek solutions for intentional wrongs.

But it’s just a formality, and the verification process isn’t that stringent. They cleared the fake ones right away. And the visa demands just one document. Which is the final degree.
