India become Global Hub of Adultration/Contamination/Fake Goods and materials due to the poor law and order situation as you may find everything is adultrated/contaminated/fake.

Commercial Professionals / politicians /Mafia / Businessman /Industrialist/ Bureocrates all are difficult to diffirentiate from criminals as they some way other exploite poor judicial system and law enforcement agencies to their benefits have no fear of law.
So the education is one which difficult to mention which Institute affiliate to Australia/US/British/French/Canadian etc Universities or Deemed Universities or many so called commercialised Private B-Schools how to differenciate them by grading is also difficult due to lack of credibility and benchmark or evaluation criteria today.
Multiplicity of education system confused this entire Industry....

In the US, it is a common practice to run a Background Check on a candidate before hiring a candidate. There are several 3rd party companies that specialize in Background Check that includes educational, criminal, and employment background. Some even conduct a credit history and diriving record check. I do not believe there are such companies, or even the infrastructure in India to support such a thorough background check. However, I am hoping the following things would reasonably verify someone's credentials.
  1. Look up the certificates and call the institutions that issues them. They usually keep student records dating back to whenever.
  2. Ask for references (at least two), call them and have a 5 minute conversation about specifics. Any reasonable person could make out if the reference is real or fake
  3. Running a criminal background check would be a little easier (I presume). This happens to anyone who applies for a passport.
  4. Claims of any foreign travel is also quite simple to verify (look at their passport!)
These are a few things I could think of. Maybe there are more ways?

Cheers,
