Hi HR person,
I have done B Com 1\'st and 2\'nd year but couldn\'t pass 3\'rd year,so in short only first year and second year cleared, after that i did my regular MBA from one of most prestigious college on the bases of B com 3\'rd year fake mark sheet provided by my university clerk , he promised me that now he changed internal records and took money from me ,
i have been working since last 12 year and worked with 4 top category IT company ,
in my last organization verification agency revealed with HR , although H R didn\'t asks me to leave but i left organization in fear and avoid to any black spot in career , now i m setting at home ,,,
please suggest me why i didn\'t caught in last 12 year and how can i manage the things ,, i know its not fair but 1 and 2 year mark sheet genuine, MBA regular is genuine.. can i survive ?????

Well, in short I would say that....if you passed the exam by copying and cheating without getting caught it doesn't mean that copying and cheating get allowed in the exams.......and in the same way if you initially succed in your career without getting caught for the fake certificate doesn't mean you are right.

Hello Anonymous,I completely understand your problem,.. Well I know whatever you did was wrong.. But i am sure due to some circumstances you took one wrong decision of taking a Fake Certificate.. but I am confused at one place. When your HR didn't ask you to leave the JOB or he/she didn't say you anything.. I guess it was just because she must be happy with your performance.. I guess you would have thought twice before leaving your JOB.. Because now somewhere you will lack your confidence while giving the next interview as this things will be always there in your mind..
I don't see what I can suggest you.. as leaving job was not a correct decision from my point of view.. But honestly let me see & discuss with my friends.. if I can find some option.. I shall update you here.. If I find some option for you..
Take Care...

One thing which I dint understand is how come you know about your background verification report, that your BVR revealed that your educational verification is negative when even HR has not discussed this issue with you ??

Which academic record verification has to be done, is entirely depend on the discretion of company, there are companies who go with only higher education verification and there are companies who go with higher two educations, so one cannot predict what will get verified after the employment.
Coming to your second query "HR will be OK if i would only submit higest degree and 10,12,th certificate", well I don't think any renowned company will be ok with it, because most of the renowned companies take all the educational certificates for their records.

Hi Anonymous. A very interesting query indeed. This reminded me right away of Yahoo's Scott Thompson who was fired last year for providing false details on the resume.
You may search the details and make yourself aware about this case. I briefly read your query above, and from my (little) experience with the corporate world, I can tell you that as a person moves up the ladder, the background checks become more stringent and strict. Even for world's best 500 companies; or eve world's no 1 company for that matter. Maybe there are people who have done similar in the past and have gotten away with it. You were the unlucky one perhaps.
Now you must be aware about the mistakes that you made hence I dont need to point that out. In my opinion, you should give the TY exam now. And apply for jobs after that. I can't come up with any other solution.

Dear friend,
In the circumstances explained, you have these options (some of them might be viewed as unethical to suggest)-
1. First and foremost complete the 3rd yr B.Com, exam also successfully and fill up your resume with factual details.
2. Whatever might the employer ask for, submit only the MBA degree - it is difficult to satisfy the employer as to why you could not produce B.Com cert.
3. Enroll for a fresh degree either distance education or evening courses or full time and when completed successfully you make up your mind that you have only this qualification to quote and forget about defunct B.Com.
4. Forget about a job, open your own venture, a business, a consultancy, or a BPO or such job like 'do-it-at-home' where qualifications might be secondary.
May God bless you.
