I'm going to join a public sector bank on July 8, where they require a relieving letter from my current employer. However, my current employer can issue the relieving letter after July 25, which is 21 working days from July 2. What should I do now?

Dear friend,

You are going to join a Public Sector Bank on July 8th, whereas the relieving letter will be given to you on July 25th. But then, what is the reason for the late issue of the relieving letter? Has your new employer specifically asked you to bring the relieving letter on the very first day? What was your last working day? Did you complete your notice period? Please provide the complete details.

Thanks,
Dinesh Divekar
