Dear Colleague,
Team-building responsibility cuts across all leadership roles, from the first-line supervisor to the CEO. However, the knowledge and skill input must be provided by an expert, such as the Head of HR or an outside resource.
Teams have goals to achieve. The leader inspires them by binding them with disciplined coordinated efforts, unleashing motivation for achievement, and leading by self-example. All these elements and others contribute to team-building activities.

Dear Venkatesh,
HR professionals have an obsession with team-building activities. Let me reiterate what I have previously mentioned. How many HR professionals have conducted studies to determine which team-building activities enhance teamwork, subsequently increasing productivity and revenue?
The primary role of HR professionals is to foster a culture of teamwork. While organizing games is a part of this effort, it is not the only aspect.
Previously, I provided a detailed explanation regarding the effectiveness of team-building games. You can refer to my response by clicking the following link: https://www.citehr.com/313635-whethe...ml#post1422129
