Topic: Communication Skills and Spoken English

I am working as Deputy Manager in a pharmaceutical company for 17 years with a major part of Administration duties. Hence, I am transferred to a sister concern company like a technical testing lab. Finally, my Head of Department/Director intended and asked that English language is compulsory in daily duties to discuss with our employees and customers.

At the beginning of my profession, I was only BA qualified and joined this pharmaceutical company. After that, I completed my LLB and MBA (currently pursuing). Kindly suggest if it is compulsory to develop my career in spoken English.
