First of all are you 5 day working, when is the weekly off, why salary deduction is there no paid leave, what is the nature of leave taken (CL/EL). You took leave for last 4 days of Feb'18 does it mean 23,26-28 th Feb. Pl clarify.

Internationally, one is supposed to work 8 hours in a day and maximum 26 days in a month.
One needs rest from labour for effective labour input and output.
If you work 30 days in a month, how many hours do you work in a day?
@KK!HR is asking if there is no paid leave in your company (plus other info he wants to know). Give more information on the raised points and experts will be able to respond in a proper way.

If your taking AL from 25 to 28 Feb and returning back to work on 01 Mar, then your Basic should be deducted for 4 days only not 6 Days.

It seems that member has taken leave on 23, 26,27 & 28 Feb 2018. Which includes two days off. Affix or Suffix of the holiday, attendance is required or it will be treated as leave. Thanks,

Dear colleague,
Eligible Employees covered under Shops and Est. Act in Maharashtra get paid privilege leave for working days which means any holidays falling prior , during and at the end of leave period are not counted as PL.( As per recent amendment).
If your 4 days of leave was PL, it is paid leave and no deduction on account of holidays can be made.
General practice is to pay uniformly as per same monthly rate, regardless of 31, 30 or 28/29 days in a month.
Your company is wrong in deducting your salary for 6 days.

I Think they calculate your salary for 24 days as you work there from 1 feb to 24 feb. after that you got leave from your office. company make your salary for 24 days only. and they calculate your salary on 30 days instead of 28 days.
