First and foremost, identify the roles of a salesperson required to be identified, and their required knowledge, educational background, and soft skills to sell the identified product to customers (whether it is OE customer or Aftermarket customer). Keep in mind product quality acceptance/demand in the market, brand image, as they play an important role in sales.

Then find out the sourcing (availability, geographical location, and identification of the person, whether internal or external. If external, is it through advertisement or through a manpower placement agency) and the time factor to be involved to be taken into consideration. Every source has some cost involved in it. Find out the Budget vs Expenditure, if required, get it approved in advance.

Prepare a project/Gantt chart created using Microsoft Project (MSP) with a critical path and non-critical activities. You may make the presentation confidentially based on the chart.
