Hi Indu,
For new joiners, the salary will be calculated on a prorated basis. From your salary, the per-day wage will be calculated and paid accordingly for February. Not sure about your salary structure and deductions; hence, it is not possible to give a feasible answer. If you have your CTC details in the offer letter, please go through them and ask HR for any clarification.

Indu,
Calculate your salary using the following formula:
Your monthly salary x 8 / 28 = salary payable.
The number of days for salary payment is 8 (21st to 28th Feb).
For example, if your monthly salary is Rs. 28,000, then Rs. 28,000 x 8 / 28 = Rs. 8,000.

Oh my God...We have reported sevaral times...Again.....Ok
Monthly salaried person means.... Irrespective of any month having 30...31...28....Or 29 days of frebuary leap year .in a calander..,
First calculate one day salary....Then multiply with days upto last working day of that month...
Suppose a person was appointed with 26000 p.m salary...That person's salary per day is 26000÷26= Rs.1000/-per day.
Inthe given context from joined date 21st.february2018 to 28th February...
Is having 8 days..25th sunday...So total 07 working days.
So please multiply with 07 to one day salary..
Suppose a person's
monthly salary is
Rs
26000÷26days=Rs1000/-per day.(one day salary) ×07 working days =
Rs7000/-
Ok.
No confusion ...this is standard calculation authenticated by Indian Labour Laws..
Note : Monthly salary should always be devided by 26 days...Only ..to get one day salary per month...
Never devided by 28 or 30 or 31 or 29 days of that month..
Catch my point..Pls...
