hi,
I work in a small firm. Its been 5 months since i have joined this company. We basically have a software for calculation of attendance of the employees. For all the months we used to apply a formula to calculate the salary for the month. And its like, fixed salary divided by number of days in a month multiplied by the number of days present by the employees. As it is the month of Feb, I am in a dilemma how to calculate the salary for 28 days. I tried practicing with the same formula changing the number of days for 28. But the salary to be paid is showing more than the fixed salary. Can anyone help me out with this?
thank you in advance.

Hi
First you please tell whether you are working 5 days a week or 6 days a week.
As part of calculation of salary in usual case you should consider 30 days a month & the salary shall be paid for 26 days irrespective of number of week ends & total number of days in a month.
