Guidelines for Issuing Experience Certificate for Ex-Employee and Considering Liabilities - CiteHR

Hello everyone. Currently, I am working with a company (XYZ) previously known as "AB Company" - (JV). An ex-employee of that company is now requesting an experience certificate. Could you please guide me on the format I should choose for the letter? I need assistance in preparing his experience certificate for the period from 2010 to 2015.

Please state whether both XYZ and AB Company are companies incorporated under the Companies Act or a partnership, proprietary firm, etc. In the case of a company, please examine the formation of AB Company to determine if it is the successor in interest of XYZ company or undertaking any liability or continuity. If this is not specifically mentioned, it would not be in the best interest of AB Company to issue an experience certificate with respect to XYZ company.
