Dear Team,
I need a show cause format for the incident involving a supervisor catching an employee sleeping during the night shift but failing to report it to seniors. One of our supervisors took a picture of an employee sleeping during the night shift but did not update the seniors.

Dear Harish,
You could have prepared a draft of the show cause notice on your own and uploaded it here. Some senior could have corrected it. Anyway, check the following draft:
Date: -
To,
Mr. _____ (complete name of the employee)
Employee No. ________
1. You were on night duty from ______ hours to ______ hours on ____ (date). In your night shift, the junior employee Mr. _____ was also working with you. You had found that he was sleeping while on duty. To generate evidence of his misconduct, you had taken a photograph of the employee. However, instead of reporting the misconduct of your junior to the seniors, you had withheld this information to yourself.
2. Failure to disclose what happens in the night shift is suppression of material facts, which in itself is misconduct. Your misconduct has been viewed seriously, and you are hereby given a show cause notice as to why disciplinary action should not be initiated against you. Your reply is to reach within 48 hours on receipt of this show cause notice. If your reply is found not satisfactory, or if no reply is received within the stipulated time limit, then the administration of _______ (name of your company) reserves the right to take disciplinary action against you.
3. You need to sign the duplicate copy of this show cause notice. Your signature signifies that you have read and understood the notice.
________ (complete name of the person)
________ (designation)
Authorised Signatory
Fill in the blanks wherever necessary, take a printout on the company's letterhead, and then issue the notice to the employee.
Thanks,

Dear Team,
Greetings!
First of all, thanks for your valuable guidance on my last query. Recently, I gave notice regarding the issue of a supervisor hiding information about a junior employee sleeping at night. It has been 48 hours, and the supervisor has not yet responded. What kind of notice should I give in this situation?
Thank you.
