Hi, I had resigned from my job three months ago with an officially written letter to the concerned authorities. I also explained my situation (family problems) to be relieved immediately, and the same was accepted by all. However, I have now received a letter from the HR department stating unauthorized absence and citing absconding as the reason for separation. I have submitted an explanation letter to the HR department, but there has been no response from anyone. Additionally, my PF and GF are pending.

I would appreciate your advice on this matter and how to proceed further.

Dear Ubaid,

Hi. If you have written approval from your HODs and HR department for the acceptance of your resignation, then it's okay. I think you have not served the notice period. As per my advice, you should personally meet your HR head and again clarify your situation. Don't worry, be polite, and ensure you receive your dues smartly.
