Kindly advice regarding UAN: If a person settle their pf account, then pf member Account Number is closed. But what about UAN???Can a person continue for same UAN for new employment if pf account settle or create new UAN

If settle your account... then no use use of same UAN . If questionable also to why withdrawal your amount.... PF is for future fund not present fund. Go for New UAN.

Dear Mr Singh, UAN means UNIVERSAL ACCOUNT Number.Employee withdrawing his PF Accumulations does not bar from linking UAN consequent to Employment.The very purpose of introduction of UAN is defeated, if New UAN is created without linking existing UAN
