I worked in Company A for 1.5 years, but they didn't deduct PF. Later, I switched to Company B where I worked for 3 months, and they provide PF, and I obtained a UAN number as well. Now, I have joined Company C without obtaining a relieving letter from Company B. Company C has asked me to fill out Form 11 for PF, but I am unable to provide details of my previous employment PF contributions as Employer C is unaware of my employment at Company B. Is it possible to generate a new UAN number, or will Employer C find out about Company B? This time, I have provided a different mobile number.

Dear Soumitra,
If you provide another mobile number to your C company employer, it does not matter to them. Your C company can know your name through PF establishment search if you give them your company name. C company can also know the PF status of your company B.
If you provide the PF account number of company B to your C company, they can know your UAN number. They can determine your tenure of experience in the previous job through this information. They can self-activate your UAN after a search. So, even if you don't provide the UAN or PF account to your current employer, they can find it. If you have any queries regarding this, please feel free to contact me.

Hello Saumitra and Ruchika,
I am also in a similar situation and want to understand the implications that followed. Does the new employer go into verification details using UAN number and create issues in new employment? Can we somehow get the PF account details of company B removed from our UAN account?
Thanks

Guys, relax. Your UAN number is linked with your bank account number. If you create a new bank account number, a new UAN number will be generated, provided you shouldn't provide your previous UAN number with your previous employer to the new employer. So, if you don't want your new employer to know your previous organization's UAN number, simply open a new bank account number and give them the new bank account number.

The corrected text with proper spelling, grammar, and punctuation is as follows:
"Bullshit! It's not about the bank account number; it's about the PAN card number, which is compulsory for all bank accounts. So, even if you open a new account, the PAN will remain the same, and so will the UAN history."

Hi, I am in the same situation. As per my knowledge, the current employer will create a new PF account that will be linked to the same UAN number for us to view. I am confused about whether the current employer has the ability to see the previous PF account.
