I am an HR Professional in a private company. We are shifting our office to a new building within the next 2 months. I want to introduce new ideas as an HR to create a happier environment. We currently celebrate birthdays, announce Employee of the Month, send bouquets to employees' families on anniversaries, and celebrate Diwali and Holi. However, I am looking for new initiatives to implement in the office. Please provide guidance on any new ideas, policies, or initiatives that could be introduced.

The measures that you have mentioned to engage your employees are hygienic factors. Have you introduced intrinsic factors that are concomitant to hygienic factors? For the top performers of the company, you may give them a subscription to the physical or online library. The subscription can be of magazines or periodicals related to business as well. This type of subscription will help improve employees' knowledge base, which in turn will help improve their intellectual contribution.

you can start with funny monday or and weekend theme or change dress codes. also invite guitarist in the office on birthday or marriage anniversary. arrange movie show on special day.

The best idea is to introduce Friday or Saturday as Freeday. Inform them to come in casual dress. As it's a Freeday, they can play games like carrom, table tennis, tambola, and antakshari. You can also introduce Hobbyday - singing, dancing, mimicry, and more based on their original interests.
Gift the winners and participants, which can really boost them and provide fun on weekends with their families too.
